Reason 3 and my biggest reason I hate hiei: he barely ever struggles. So why does hiei use that damn sword so much? Most of the attacks he does are just regular sword attacks, which kuwabara can already do and a lot better and with more variety. Eyeball form? Used once in the fight with yusuke. Darkness flame sword? (I forgot what it was actually called) used once in the tournament of power. Dragon of the darkness flame: used like 2 or 3 times in the whole series. Reason 2: he has some actually pretty cool looking moves that he barely uses. This type of character can be done good (look at vegeta for example) but hiei isn't one of them. Sasuke, squall, shadow the goddamn hedgehog, kirito, I could go on but I think you get why I don't like it. Another reason he's annoying is that the whole edgey archetype he has, I have never liked. If he was just an ass at the first battle with yusuke and eventually turns into a good character in the same way yusuke did, then I would like him a lot more. Unlike kuwabara and kurama who were absolute peaches from start to end or yusuke who did start off pretty annoying but eventually became amazing, hiei is just starts as a dickhead and stays about the same level of dickhead. This will be fun to read the comments on. Now I'm here to justify why I believe this.
